At ALP, documentary-style videography is about so much more than just capturing what your day looked like: it’s about capturing what it felt like.
I’m not there to stage moments or have you perform for the camera. I’m there to quietly document your day as it naturally unfolds. The real interactions, the in-between moments, the laughter, the tears… all the things that make your story yours.
The best part is that your story is told by the people who matter most to you. Their voices, their reactions, the way they love you, that’s what brings everything to life. It’s honest, it’s emotional, and it’s something you’ll actually feel when you watch it back.
My goal is for you to be fully present in your day while I preserve it in a way that feels true to you, so years from now, you’re reliving it.
Every film I create is rooted in connection, emotion, and the moments that matter most. With five years of experience as a professional photographer, I’ve learned how to anticipate fleeting glances, quiet in-between moments, and the emotions you don’t even realize are happening. That trained eye, paired with a deep love for storytelling, allows me to create films that feel natural, personal, and deeply meaningful. My approach is thoughtful and intentional, focusing on authenticity over trends. The result is a timeless film that reflects you: something beautiful, emotional, and uniquely yours, meant to be watched and cherished for years to come.
My approach on your wedding day is to work alongside your photographer and follow their timeline, allowing everything to flow naturally without feeling staged or intrusive. I take a non-invasive approach so you can stay fully present, while I quietly capture what’s unfolding around you. I also focus on weaving in the voices and stories of your favorite people: the meaningful words, the stories, the little moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.
To keep things simple and stress-free, I’ll walk alongside you throughout the planning process. On the day itself, I’ll follow alongside the photographer and their timeline so everything flows seamlessly. I’ll offer guidance when needed and provide honest feedback so the entire experience feels effortless. You’ll have unlimited access to me through text, email, or phone, plus a questionnaire will be provided to grab all the important details. And if a last-minute question pops up? I’m only a message away (though let’s keep it before 10 p.m., haha!).

How can I book?
A.Start by clicking one of the Inquire Now buttons and filling out the form so I can connect with you! From there, we can schedule a consultation or chat over email—no pressure for phone calls if that feels overwhelming. This step helps me get to know your vision and make sure we’re a great fit, because the last thing you want is to end up with a videographer who doesn’t click with you.
To officially secure your date, I require a $200 retainer and a signed contract. Once that’s complete, your wedding date is locked in! We’ll also chat about your photographer's timeline as I will follow closely with them, as well as special details you want captured.
From there, everything will be taken care of—you won’t have to stress about a thing when it comes to videography. After your big day, you’ll receive your film within 6 weeks.
How long is a wedding documentary film?
A.Most wedding documentary films typically fall between 7–15 minutes. But the truth is, there’s no one-size-fits-all length.
While coverage time does matter, the longer I’m there, the more opportunities there are to capture meaningful moments, what really shapes your final film is your timeline.
A day filled with emotional moments like private vows, first looks, speeches, and lots of interaction naturally creates a longer, more in-depth story. More moments = more to include.
On the other hand, a simpler, more laid-back timeline may result in a shorter film.
At the end of the day, it’s not about hitting a specific length:
it’s about telling your story in a way that feels full, natural, and true to your day.
What gear do you shoot with?
A.I keep my setup simple and intentional so I can stay fully present on your day—I primarily shoot with one main camera and keep a second as a backup for peace of mind, using my Canon R with a 35mm lens for a natural, true-to-life look, paired with a DJI Ronin SC2 for smooth, cinematic movement; for audio, I carry two mic kits but typically use my DJI wireless mics since they’re reliable, discreet, and easy to clip onto any outfit, allowing me to capture clear, high-quality sound for vows, speeches, and all the meaningful in-between moments.
Do you shoot solo?
A.I do not have an an associate for videography, so yes! I will work alongside your photographer and coordinate with other vendors for a seamless experience!
What is your experience?
A.I’ve now completed over five wedding films, and my background in photography, spanning over five years, has played a huge role in shaping my eye for detail and storytelling. Each wedding and event I’ve filmed has continued to refine my videography style and approach. Alongside hands-on experience, I also completed a college course in video production, giving me a strong foundation in both the technical and creative sides of the craft.
What are your travel limits?
A.I’m happy to travel for your wedding day! Travel fees apply for locations more than 30 miles from my home base (unless specified otherwise).
If you’re planning an out-of-state wedding, I’d love to be part of it, just note that additional costs for travel and accommodations will be added to your package.
